A new song written on my piano at home. I hope you enjoy!

Please join me at the beautiful Brian Morris Gallery where I’ll be playing original compositions and improvisations on piano. I’ve been looking for a place to perform outside the traditional NYC venues, and was immediately inspired when reading up on the minimalists and the spaces they played in. Brain and I talked, and decided to set up a regular early evening event, where people can come, enjoy the latest exhibit (White Washed), and listen to music in a relaxed and inspiring environment. We hope to see you there!

I’m happy to share a song I wrote while waiting for a plane at the airport in Madrid. When I got home I turned on the amp and tracked all the parts. My friend and fellow PG singer Nailah Daaj came by and sang some beautiful vocals to round out the song. I’m having fun experimenting with arrangements and space in the pop song format. I hope you enjoy!

Today I have a synthesizer experiment, created while staring out my studio window, watching the tree leaves float like waves. It’s a nice underwater dreamy soundscape, reminds me of a nature documentary sound track.

Created mostly with a Juno 106 in need of repair, and some handy percussion instruments, and an intercepted Skype conversation between my friends Monica and Clovis, discussing swimming and a beach view.

Celebrating the new Peculiar Gentlemen album “When I Fall” Here is a remix of the song End of the Earth, done by my good friend and collaborator Chris Peck, front man of the band The Disappointment. He took a space out rock song and turned it on it’s head with a gritty drum beat. I hope you enjoy!

All our fantastic artwork for this album is done by the amazing Timo Ellis!

New music video from my band Peculiar Gentlemen! Reload is the first single from our album When I Fall!

A beautiful time lapse video, filmed by Iker Llona, showing a day in the kitchen at Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastian - Donosté, Spain. I really enjoyed writing for this short piece, and may create an extended version of the song when time allows.
